Adrian Jarvis

Adrian Jarvis was for many years Curator of Port History at Merseyside Maritime Museum, where he specialised in the history of port planning, engineering and management, on which he published four books and edited several collections. Since retirement he has worked at the University of Liverpool, where he is Honorary Fellow in History, on research into the merchant community of late nineteenth-century Liverpool, and on a number of freelance projects.
