C.W. Hill

Formerly a naval officer and college lecturer in history, the late C. W. Hill lived in Buckie, on the Moray Firth, within sight of the sea and midway between the historic burghs of Elgin and Banff. He contributed regularly to journals in Britain, Ireland and the United States and wrote a number of books, including Edwardian Scotland, Edwardian Entertainments, Scotland in Stamps, and for Shire Discovering Picture Postcards and Discovering Treasure Hunting.
