Glenys Crocker

Glenys Crocker is from Lancashire but has lived for many years at Guildford in Surrey. She is photographed at the site of the nearby Chilworth powder mills. She and her husband Alan and a colleague set up a national Gunpowder Mills Study Group in 1985. Her publications include a Gunpowder Mills Gazetteer, which she compiled on behalf of the Group, and several papers on other aspects of industrial archaeology and history. She is joint honorary editor of Surrey Archaeological Collections.
