Nicholas Summerton

Nicholas Summerton is a part-time general practicioner and consultant clinical and public health adviser to the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). He is also an established writer, having authored two books for general practicioners, in addition to a number of papers in leading medical journals. He has a long-standing interest in the Roman world and he has been awarded prizes for his work on the Roman invasion of Britain and on ancient numismatics.
