Venetia Newall

Venetia Newall (D.Litt, FRSL, FSA, FRAI) has written, broadcast, and lectured on folklore in the UK, Europe and USA. Formerly a Research Fellow in Folklore at the University of London, she has also been a Visiting Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, was president of the Folklore Society, editor of International Folklore Review, and has written, among other books, An Egg at Easter.
