Greg Morse
Greg Morse is the author of ‘John Betjeman – Reading the Victorians’, which grew out of the work he did for his D.Phil thesis on the Laureate. He is also co-author, with Chris Ellis, of ‘Britain’s Historic Railways’, which draws on an enthusiasm for Britain’s railways that he shares with Betjeman. Greg works as a technical writer for the railway industry in London.Greg Morse was instilled with a love of trains at an early age. Growing up in the Great Western town of Swindon in the 1970s, he witnessed the end of the celebrated diesel hydraulics and the birth of the Inter-City 125s. He has written many articles on railway history and is now privileged to work for the industry he loves as an Operational Safety Specialist.
