Carol Wichard

Carol Wichard teaches at a primary school in Somerset. She has maintained an interest in the fashions of the 1860s for many years, having studied fashion and textiles as part of her BEd training. She began the carte-de-viste collection as a research tool. Through a detailed knowledge of fashion (supported by a collection of original garments and accessories) she has reproduced period costume for use by modern historical interpreters.
