Step back in time and visit the Victorians

This month we have three books coming back into stock about the Victorians, to add to our rapidly expanding library on the Victorians. The three reprinting titles appeared on a poster that we had on display at Who Do You Think You Are Live a couple of months ago - and loads of people simply couldnt wait to get their hands on these three re-issues. The Victorian Workhouse, The Victorian Domestic Servant and Victorian and Edwardian Horse Cabs provide a great cross section of Shire in general - a slice of industrial history, a slice of social history and a slice of machinery.

This year, of course, we have already seen a handful of Shire books about the Victorians hit stores near you. The Victorian Farmer, another perennial favourite came out last month and joined a pair of brand new, shiny Shire books - The Victorians and Edwardians at Work and the Victorians and Edwardians at Play.
